Badiya Hassan Mashi babbar jami'a ce, babbar sakatariya kuma kwamishina a yanzu kan harkokin mata da ci gaban al'ummar katsina jihar Katsina.[1][2][3]

An haifi Badiyya Hassan kuma ta tashi a karamar hukumar Mashi da ke cikin garin Katsina. Ta halarci makarantar firamare ta Gidado da ke cikin garin Katsina, da Makarantar Sakandaren 'Yan Mata ta Gwamnati (GGSS) da ke Malumfashi da kuma Jami'ar Bayero ta Kano sannan kuma ta kammala karatun ta na BSc microbiology da sakamakon "second class upper" da kuma MSc da kuma PhD a kan ilimin muhallin kananan halittu (environmental microbiology).[1][4][5]

Ta kasance tsohuwar babbar malama a makarantar Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic a sashen Basic and Applied science, daga shekara ta 1992 zuwa shekarar 2016, sannan kuma tana ziyartar Jami’ar Umaru Musa Yar’adua don koyarwa.[1] A matsayinta na kwamishiniyar harkokin mata da ci gaban al’umma, ta shirya wani taron wayar da kai akan magance matsalolin shan miyagun kwayoyi. Ta ce "Mata da iyaye mata dole ne su rika yin abin da ya dace musamman wajen sanya ido a unguwanninsu domin sanin wadanda 'ya'yansu ke cudanya da su da kuma abin da suke yi a lokutansu na sirri. Za mu bi gida-gida don mu ilimantar da iyaye. ”[6]

Ta sadaukar da naira miliyan 196 domin tallafawa yara masu rauni, marayu da mata a kananan hukumomin jihar Katsina 34.[7]
