Olikoye Ransome-Kuti an haife shi ne a Ijebu Ode a ranar 30 ga watan Disamban shekarar 1927, a cikin jihar Ogun ta yanzu, Nijeriya. Mahaifiyarsa, Cif Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, shahararriyar mai rajin siyasa ce kuma mai rajin kare hakkin mata, kuma mahaifinsa, Reverend Israel Oludotun Ransome-Kuti, wani Furotesta minista kuma shugaban makarantar, shi ne shugaban farko na ƙungiyar Malaman Najeriya .
