Mohammed Bencheneb (26 Oktoba 1869 – 5 Fabrairu 1929) farfesa ne ɗan Aljeriya, marubuci kuma masanin tarihi. [1]

An haife shi a cikin shekarar 1869 iyayen sa 'yan asalin Turkawa ne, [2] Bencheneb ya zama malami daga shekarun 1889, yana da kwarewa a harsuna da yawa, ban da Larabci da Faransanci, ya koyi Latin, Ingilishi, Italiyanci, Sifen, Jamusanci, Farisa da Turkish. [3] Bencheneb ya koyar a Makarantar Graduate Arts na Algiers kafin a tura shi a shekarar 1898 zuwa farfesa a Madrasa na Constantine inda ya zauna na shekaru uku. Ya koma Algiers a 1901 a matsayin farfesa, ya koyar tun a shekarar 1904 a Madrasa Thaalibia, kuma a cikin shekarar 1908 yana da alhakin manyan tarurrukan ilimi. Ya buga kasidu da dama: ɗaya daga cikin kasidunsa na farko yana cikin Revue Algerienne de Droit ("Journal of Algerian Law") a shekara ta 1895, sannan a cikin Revue Africaine ("Jarida ta Afirka") inda aka ɗauki nauyin yawancin labaransa. [3]

Bayan mutuwarsa a shekara ta 1929, an binne shi a makabartar Thaalibia na Casbah na Algiers.
