Solomon Ehigiator Arase (an haife shi 21 ga Yuni, shekara ta alif ɗari tara da hamsin da shida 1956) ɗan sandan Najeriya ne mai ritaya wanda ya yi aiki a matsayin Sufeto-Janar na ƴan sandan Najeriya na 18 (IGP) . Shugaban kasa Goodluck Jonathan ne ya nada shi IGP a shekarar 2015 bayan an tube Suleiman Abba . Kafin nadin sa a matsayin IGP, Arase ya kasance shugaban babban sashin tattara bayanan sirri na ‘yan sandan Najeriya, hukumar leken asiri da binciken manyan laifuka.[1]

An haifi Arase ranar 21 ga watan Yuni, 1956 a karamar hukumar Owan ta Yamma, jihar Edo a Kudancin Najeriya. Ya halarci Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello inda ya yi karatun digirinsa na farko kuma ya kammala karatunsa na digiri a fannin siyasa a shekara ta 1980. An dauke shi aikin ‘yan sandan Najeriya shekara guda bayan ranar 1 ga Disamba, 1981. Ya kuma sake samun digirin farko a fannin shari'a a Jami'ar Benin da kuma Masters daga Jami'ar Legas .

Yayin da yake aikin ‘yan sanda, Arase ya yi ayyuka da dama da suka hada da zama kwamishinan ‘yan sanda a jihar Akwa Ibom da kuma sashin tattara bayanan sirri a matsayin mataimakin sufeto Janar. Shi ma'aikaci ne a ƙwalejin Tsaro ta Najeriya kuma ya yi aiki a Namibia a lokacin aikin wanzar da zaman lafiya na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya.[2][3][4]


Arase ya yi ritaya daga aikin a ranar 21 ga Yuni na shekara ta, 2016. A ranar 21 ga watan Yuni, 2016, shugaban kasa Muhammadu Buhari ya nada Ibrahim Kpotum Idris a matsayin Sufeto Janar na ‘yan sandan Najeriya . Bayan ya yi ritaya daga aikin ‘yan sanda, an nada Arase shugaban kwamitin da ke da alhakin aiwatar da dokar ƙungiyar ci gaban al’umma ta jiha a jihar Edo.[4][5][6] [7]
