Nicholas Amechi Akwanya, FNAL ɗan Najeriya ne mai farfesa mai ritaya, firist, mawaki kuma marubuci. Ya yi karatun firamare a Akwuzu sannan ya koma Hallows Seminary, Onitsha . Duk da haka, a lokacin yakin basasa tsakanin shekara ta (1967-1970) sojojin tarayya suka kwace Onitsha, makarantar ta koma yankin Awka-Etiti kusa da Nnewi, sannan kuma Ukpor, kudu da Nnewi. [gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Akwanya shi ne Shugaban Sashen Nazarin Turanci da na Adabi,a Jami'ar Najeriya daga shekara ta 2002 zuwa 2005 da 2011-2013. Daga 2009 - 2011 kuma an nada shi Shugaban Makarantar Nazarin Digiri na biyu kuma ya zama mataimakin shugaban riko na Jami’ar Najeriya, Nsukka, daga ranar 19 zuwa 21 ga Oktoba 2009. [1][2]
