Birgediya (Rundunar Sojin Sama) Musa Usman shi ne gwamnan farko a jihar Arewa maso Gabashin Najeriya daga watan Mayu 1967 zuwa Yuli 1975 bayan an kafa jihar daga wani yanki na Arewa a lokacin mulkin soja na Janar Yakubu Gowon.[1]
Usman ya halarci Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Ingila inda ya samu kwamishina a 1962.[2] Manjo Usman ya kasance dan takara a juyin mulkin Yuli 1966 lokacin da aka hamɓaar da Manjo Janar Aguiyi Ironsi, aka maye gurbinsa da Janar Yakubu Gowon.[3] Usman wanda aka naɗa a matsayin gwamnan jihar Arewa maso Gabas a watan Mayun 1967, ya fara aikin gina masana'antar siminti ta Ashaka, wanda Manjo-Janar Shehu Musa 'Yar'aduwa ya buɗe a ranar 19 ga Yuli 1979.[4] A shekarar 1975 ya shiga tattaunawar sada zumunci da Kamaru don daidaita kan iyakar ƙasar da Najeriya.[5] Ya kasance mai goyon bayan ƙa'idar da ya kamata gwamnatin soja ta mika wa farar hula a 1976.
Bayan ya yi ritaya sai aka ba shi masauki a Unguwar Jabi Street Kaduna . Daga baya Usman ya zama darakta a bankin Arewa.
