Ruqayya bint Muhammad ( Larabci: رقية بنت محمدc. 601 zuwa Maris 624) ita ce babbar ‘yar Annabi Muhammadu da Khadija ta biyu. Ta auri khalifa na uku Uthman kuma ma'auratan sun haifi ɗa Abdallah. A shekara ta 624, Ruqayya ta rasu daga rashin lafiya.

An haife ta a Makka a shekara ta 601 ko 602 AD, Ruqayya ita ce ɗiya ta 3 kuma a mata itace ta biyu ga Muhammad da Khadija, matarsa ta farko, wadda ita ma ta kasance hamshakiyar 'yar kasuwa. [1] [2]

Auren ta da Utbah

Tayi aure kafin watan Agusta, shekara ta 610 ga Utbah ibn Abi Lahab, amma ba a take auren ba. [3] Ruqayya ta musulunta lokacin da mahaifiyarta ta rasu. [4] [5] Lokacin da Muhammadu ya fara yin wa’azi a fili a shekara ta 613, kuraishawa sun tuna wa Muhammadu cewa sun “dauke masa kulawar ‘ya’yansa mata” kuma suka yanke shawarar mayar da su domin ya tallafa musu da kuɗin sa. Sai suka gaya wa Utbah cewa za su ba shi ‘yar Aban ibn Sa’id bn Al-As ko ‘yar Sa’id bn Al-As idan ya saki Ruqayya. [3] Bayan Muhammadu ya gargadi Abū Lahab cewa zai shiga wuta, Abu Lahab ya ce ba zai sake yin magana da ɗan sa ba har sai ya saki Ruqayya, wanda Utba ya yi hakan. [6] [7]

Auren ta da Uthman

A shekara ta 615 Ruqayya ta auri wani fitaccen musulmi, Uthman ibn Affan. Ta yi masa rakiya a Hijira ta farko zuwa Abyssinia, [8] [9] [10] inda ta yi fama da zubewar ciki. Sun koma Abyssiniya a shekara ta 616, [11] [9] [10] kuma a nan Ruqayya ta haifi ɗa namiji Abd Allah a shekara ta 619. Abdallah ya rasu yana ɗan shekara shida a Madina. Ba ta da sauran 'ya'ya. Uthman da Rukayya suna daga cikin waɗanda suka dawo Makka a shekara ta 619. [12] Uthman ya yi hijira zuwa Madina a shekara ta 622, kuma Ruqayya ta bi shi daga baya. [9] [10]

An ce Ruqayya tana da kyau sosai. Lokacin da aka aika Usama bn Zaid zuwa gidansu, sai ya tsinci kansa da kallonta ita da Uthman bi da bi. Muhammad ya tambayi Usama, shin ka taɓa ganin kyawawan ma'aurata fiye da waɗancan biyun? kuma ya yarda cewa bai taɓa ba. [13]

Ruqayya ta yi rashin lafiya a watan Maris shekara ta 624. Uthman ya samu uzuri daga aikin sojan sa domin ya kula da ita. Ta rasu a cikin watan, a ranar da Zaidu bn Haritha ya koma Madina da labarin nasarar da suka samu a yakin Badar . [14] [15] [10] Lokacin da Muhammadu ya koma Madina bayan yaƙin, danginta sun tafi kabarinta domin nuna alhinin su.
