Elizabeth Mwesigwa (an haife ta a ranar 10 ga watan Maris 1992) 'yar wasan para-badminton ce 'yar Uganda kuma tana matsayi na ɗaya a matsayin lamba ta ɗaya a cikin SL3. Ta lashe lambar zinare a gasar Para-badminton ta Uganda a shekarar 2018. Tun daga watan Fabrairu 2020, tana matsayi na 12 a duk duniya a cikin rukunin mata para-badminton SL3 ta Ƙungiyar Badminton ta Duniya.[1]
Tarihi da ilimi
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]An haifi Mwesigwa a matsayin na farko cikin ’ya’ya shida na Godfrey Kakaire, a Naiobya, gundumar Iganga. An haife ta da wani lahani na haihuwa wanda ya haifar da lahani na kafafu biyu a kasa da gwiwa. Bayan da aka yi mata aikin tiyatar gabobin jikinta a Tororo, Mwesigwa ta koma Iganga kuma ta shiga makarantar Iganga Infants School sannan Pride Academy Iganga wadda ta bar a shekarar 2009 bayan ta kammala Jarabawar Firamare (PLE). [2] A cikin shekarar 2010, ta koma Kampala kuma ta shiga makarantar sakandare ta Naguru amma ta bar makarantar a 2011 a zangon farko na Senior Two. [2]
Daga baya ta tallafa wa kanta a matsayin hawker kafin ta koma Kigali, Rwanda a 2012.[3]
Wasanni
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]A shekarar 2013, Mwesigwa ta samu shiga harkar wasanni ta hanyar kwallon kwando a lokacin zamanta a Kigali na kasar Rwanda. A lokacin da ta koma Kampala a shekarar 2015, ta taka rawar gani a wasan kwallon kwando da dama kafin ta halarci wani horo na tsawon mako guda tare da Richard Morris, wani kocin Engllsh para-badminton. [2] Ta dauki para-badminton, horo ta hanyar 2015 da 2016, kuma daga ƙarshe ta nuna a gasarta ta farko (Uganda Para-badminton International) a 2017 kuma ta lashe lambar zinare.
A shekarar 2018, Mwesigwa ta lashe zinare a gasar Para-Badminton na Afirka da aka gudanar a Kampala, Uganda, bayan da ta doke 'yar Najeriya Gift Ijeoma Chukwuemeka a wasan karshe na mata na SL3.
A cikin shekarar 2019, ta sake wakiltar Uganda a Fazza-Dubai Para-Badminton International na biyu.
Cancantar gasar Olympics
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]A cikin shekarar 2019, Mwesigwa na cikin tawagar 'yan wasan Uganda 5 da suka taka leda a gasar TOTAL BWF Para-badminton na duniya da aka gudanar a Basel, Switzerland.[4] Ta fito a cikin rukunin B na Mata na SL3, Mata na SL3 – SU5 (wanda aka haɗa tare da Asha Kipwene Munene) sannan kuma a cikin gauraye biyu inda ta yi haɗin gwiwa tare da Paddy Kasirye.[5]
'Yan majalisar dokokin Uganda tun da farko sun yanke shawarar ba da gudummawar dalar Amurka 10,000 da za su taimaka mata shiga gasar da za a yi a Thailand, Faransa, Australia da Japan wanda hakan zai taimaka mata ta samu maki don samun cancantar shiga gasar Paralympics ta 2020.[6][7]
