Najeriya ita ce jamhuriya ta tarayya a Afirka ta Yamma, tana iyaka da Benin a yamma, Chadi da Kamaru a gabas, da kuma Nijar a arewa. As of 2015 Najeriya ita ce ƙasa da tafi 20 mafi ƙarfin tattalin arziki a fadin duniya, wanda ta mallaki fiye da dala biliyan 500 da dala tiriliyan 1 dangane da GDP da kuma ikon mallakar sayen bi da bi. Ta mamaye Afirka ta Kudu ya zama mafi girma a Afirka a cikin 2014. Yawan bashin-zuwa-GDP na 2013 ya kasance 11 bisa dari. Nijeriya ta kasance babbar kasuwa ce ta Bankin Duniya ; an gano shi a matsayin ikon yanki a kan nahiyar Afirka, matsakaiciyar ƙarfi a cikin lamuran duniya, [1] [2] [3] kuma an gano cewa ikon duniya mai tasowa. Najeriya mamba ce ta rukunin ƙasashen na MINT , wadanda ake ganin su a matsayin kasashe masu zuwa na gaba wadanda za su yi "kama-karya". Hakanan an lasafta shi cikin tattalin arziƙin "Na gaba Goma sha ɗaya " da aka saita don kasancewa cikin manyan ƙasashe a duniya. Najeriya mamba ce ta kafuwar Tarayyar Afirka kuma memba ce ta sauran kungiyoyin kasa da kasa, da suka hada da Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, ƙungiyar ƙasashe masu tasowa da kuma ƙungiyar ƙasashe masu arzikin man fetur OPEC .

Ba da hukuma ba an san Legas a matsayin Babban Birnin Kasuwanci na Nijeriya.
