Isa Wali (1928 - 19 Fabrairu 1967) wani jami'in diflomasiyyar Najeriya ne wanda ya yi aiki a matsayin Babban Kwamishinan Najeriya zuwa Ghana . [1] An haife shi a jihar Kano a matsayin ɗa na biyar ga Walin Kano, Sulaiman, da Hajiya Maryam Nene. Ya kasance mai fafutukar kare hakkin mata a Arewacin Najeriya, inda ya bayyana ra'ayinsa ta rubuce-rubuce da dama da suka yi suka a kan abin da ya dauka a matsayin zaluncin da ake yi wa mata a yankin. Isa Wali, an haife shi a ranar 25 ga Yuli 1928 ga Suleiman, Walin Kano, dan kabilar Gyanawa ne, kabilar Fulani da suka shahara saboda kwarewarsu a Shari'ar Musulunci . Bayan rasuwar mahaifinsa a shekara ta 1939, Isa ya taso ne a hannun Abubakar na Wali, malamin Larabci wanda ya kasance daya daga cikin masu baiwa Sarkin Kano shawara . Iliminsa na farko ya hada da kammala karatun kur'ani tun yana dan shekara bakwai, sannan ya shiga makarantar firamare ta Kwaru inda ya fara karatunsa na yammacin duniya, inda ya kammala a shekarar 1940. Daga 1940 zuwa 1943, ya halarci Makarantar Midil ta Kano, kafin ya ci gaba da karatunsa a Makarantar Koyon Larabci (SAS) da ke Kano daga 1943 zuwa 1948, inda ya kasance "Dalibi na farko a ajinsa", musamman a fannin ilmin Hadisi da tafsiri .  : 278 

Bayan kammala karatunsa a SAS, Isa ya koma Kaduna inda ya yi aiki a matsayin mai fassara a Majalisar Sarakuna da ta Majalisa . A cikin 1951, ya shafe watanni tara a London don nazarin tsarin majalisa a cikin House of Commons da House of Lords . Bayan komawarsa Kaduna ya yi aiki a matsayin mataimaki na majalisar wakilai.  : 278 

Isa ya kasance mai tasiri a cikin sabbin aji na ’yan Arewa masu ilimin yammacin Najeriya.
