Lt. Colonel Joseph Iorshagher Akaagerger (An haifeshi ranar 5 ga Mayu 1956), ya kasance shugaban mulkin soja na jihar Katsina, Nijeriya daga watan Agusta 1998 zuwa 29 ga Mayu 1999.[1] Bayan komowar dimokuradiyya, a watan Afrilun 2007 an zaɓe shi a matsayin ɗan majalisar dattawa mai wakiltar Benuwe arewa maso gabas.

Akaagerger an haife shi ne a ranar 5 ga Mayu 1956 a karamar hukumar Konshisha ta jihar Benue, asalin kabilar Tiv ne. Ya halarci Makarantar Sakandaren Gwamnati, Gboko (1969-1973). Ya shiga aikin soja, ya halarci makarantar horas da sojoji ta Najeriya, Kaduna (1976-1977), Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom (1977-79). Ya kuma sami digiri na LLB da LLM a Jami'ar Jos sannan ya sami digiri na uku a fannin shari'ar tattalin arziki na kasa da kasa a Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello da ke Zariya. Yana riƙe da sarautar gargajiya ta Ambe u Konshisha (Kwanshisha Kada).[2] Dan uwan tsohon Atoni-Janar ne kuma ministan shari'a Michael Aondoakaa.[3]

Aikin soja[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]

Akaagerger ya rike mukamai daban-daban a aikin soja, inda ya kai mukamin Laftanar Kanar. Ya kasance Darakta a Kwalejin Kwamanda da Ma’aikata ta Zariya a lokacin da aka nada shi Shugaban Soja a Jihar Katsina a lokacin mulkin Janar Abdulsalami Abubakar na rikon kwarya a watan Agusta 1998. An ce shi ne ya bayar da tallafin kudi a jihar Katsina domin yakin neman zaben Umaru Musa Yar’adua (daga baya ya zama shugaban kasa), wanda ya hau mulki a farkon jamhuriyar Najeriya ta hudu a watan Mayun 1999. Bayan mika mulki, an gano cewa jihar na da alhakin Naira miliyan 35 daga ma’aikatun, Naira miliyan 174 daga ma’aikatun gwamnati da kuma wani sama da fadi da aka samu daga Bankin Arewa a yankin na Naira miliyan 75, da kuma wasu basussuka.[4] Bayan komawar mulkin dimokuradiyya, a matsayinsa na tsohon shugaban mulkin soja, an bukaci ya yi ritaya daga aikin soja.[5]

Sanata[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]

Akaagerger ya koma jam'iyyar United Nigeria Peoples Party (UNPP).[6] A zaɓen 2003, ya kasance dan takarar majalisar dattawa a jihar Benue a ƙarƙashin jam’iyyar UNPP, amma ba a zaɓe shi ba. A watan Yunin 2004 ya zarce zuwa jam'iyyar People's Democratic Party (PDP).[7] A zaɓen 2007 ya sake tsayawa takara a Benue NE, a wannan karon a dandalin PDP. A zaben fidda gwanin da aka yi, bai samu kuri’u 2/3 da ake bukata ba, amma an zabe shi a matsayin dan takara da gagarumin rinjaye, kamar yadda Sanata David Mark ya samu a shiyyar Benuwe ta Kudu.[8] Unongo ya ba shi goyon bayansa, kuma aka zabe shi, ya hau mulki a watan Mayun 2007.[9] A watan Janairun 2008, wata kotun sauraren kararrakin zabe da ke Makurdi ta soke zaɓensa bisa ga cewa an yi kason kuri’u masu dimbin yawa, sabanin zaɓen da aka yi na hakika, ta kuma ba da umarnin sake gudanar da sabon zaɓe.[10] Ya ɗaukaka ƙara akan hukuncin. A cikin Fabrairun 2008, Akaagerger ya zama Sakataren Yada Labarai na Dandalin Sanatocin Arewa.[11]

Akaagerger ya sanya samar da kiwon lafiya fifiko. A watan Disamba 2008, ya bayyana cewa shirinsa na jinya kyauta a jihar, wanda ake aiwatar da shi tare da haɗin gwiwar kungiyar likitocin Grassroots, ya kashe Naira miliyan 50 kuma ya amfana da mutane 23,000.[12] A cikin Oktoba 2009, ya tayar da ƙararrawa a kan madatsar ruwa ta Lake Nyos, da ke cikin Kamaru, wanda ke shiga cikin kogin Benue. Tafkin yana zaune a ɗakin magma kuma yana cike da CO 2, wanda ya barke a baya. Katangar madatsar ruwan na dada yin rauni, kuma lamarin girgizar kasa zai iya haifar da bala'i a mashigin Najeriya. Akaagerger ya yi kira da a yi taka-tsan-tsan da ya hada da gaggauta aikin dam na Kashimbilla buffer.[13]

A watan Mayun 2009, Akaagerger da wasu Sanatoci tara aka mika su ga kwamitin da'a, gata da kuma kararrakin jama'a don bincike dangane da wata takaddama da aka biya ta tafiya Ghana.[14] A watan Yulin 2009, wani kwamitin majalisar dattijai ya bayyana sunayen tsoffin daraktocin bankuna 13 da suka gaza a matsayin suna da hannu wajen cin zarafi da basussuka wanda ya kai ga gazawar bankunan. Akaagerger dai ya yi adawa da bayyana sunayen a bainar jama’a, tunda sun hada da shugabannin hukumomin wasu hukumomin gwamnatin tarayya.[15] A cikin watan Oktoban 2009 da Babban Bankin Najeriya ya fitar na rancen da ba a biya ba a bankuna biyar da sai da aka yi belinsa ya nuna cewa Akaagerger na ciwo bashin Naira miliyan 534 ga bankin Spring Bank Plc.[16] A cikin wata hira da aka yi da shi a watan Maris na 2010 Akaagerger ya bayyana fatansa cewa za a warware sauye-sauyen zaben da ake shirin yi kafin zaɓen 2011.[17]

Wasu ayyukan baya[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]

A watan Janairun 2011 tsohon shugaban jam’iyyar PDP na ƙasa Barnabas Gemade ya doke Akaagerger da sauran su inda ya zama dan takarar jam’iyyar PDP a majalisar dattawa a jihar Benuwe arewa maso gabas.[18] A cikin Maris 2011, Akaagerger ya ce canji ya zama dole. Idan jam’iyyar Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) ta hau mulki, Audu Ogbeh zai bunkasa Benue kuma zai daƙile ɓarnar da PDP ta yi a shekaru hudu da suka wuce.[19] A watan Oktoban 2014, Akaagerger yana cikin dattawan PDP na yankin Benuwe arewa maso gabas da suka goyi bayan Gwamna Gabriel Suswam a takarar Sanata a 2015.[20]

A watan Mayun 2015, Akaagerger na cikin shugabannin jahohi shida na shiyyar arewa ta tsakiya da suka yi yunkurin neman George Akume a matsayin shugaban majalisar dattawa.[21][22]
