Hamza Abdullahi (2 Maris shekara ta 1945 - 3 Janairu shekarar 2019) ɗan Najeriya ne kuma shugaban mulkin soja wanda ya yi Gwamnan Jihar Kano daga shekara ta 1984 zuwa shekarar 1985; kuma Ministan Babban Birnin Tarayya daga 1986 zuwa 1989.

Rayuwar farko

An haifi Hamza Abdullahi a garin Hadejia (yanzu a jihar Jigawa ) kuma yayi karatu a Kano.[1]

Ya shiga aikin sojan saman Najeriya a shekarar 1964, kuma ya halarci sashen horar da sojojin saman Najeriya a Kaduna. Daga 1964 zuwa 1966, ya kammala kwas na jami'an fasaha na jirgin sama a Jamus ta Yamma, sannan ya shiga aikin yaƙin basasar Najeriya.[2] Bayan yaƙin, shi ne Air Provost Marshal, Air Provost Group daga 1971 zuwa 1980; sannan kuma ya halarci Cibiyar horar da 'yan sanda ta Royal Soja a Chichester a shekarar 1974. Ya halarci juyin mulkin da sojoji suka yi a shekarar 1975 wanda ya kai Janar Murtala Mohammed kan karagar mulki;[3] kuma daga 1980 zuwa 1984 shi ne Kwamandan Rukunin, Rukunin Horar da Ƙasa a Kaduna.[4]

Gwamnan soja

Bayan juyin mulkin da sojoji suka yi a 1983, shugaban mulkin soja Janar Muhamadu Buhari ya naɗa Hamza Abdullahi gwamnan jihar Kano (a yanzu jihar Kano da Jigawa) a watan Janairun 1984. Gwamnatin Soja ta Tarayya ce ta ɗora wa gwamnatinsa aikin aiwatar da yaƙin yaƙi da rashin ɗa’a a Jihar Kano, wanda Janar Tunde Idiagbon ya ƙaddamar da shi.[5] A matsayinsa na gwamnan soja, Hamza Abdullahi daga baya ya taka rawa a juyin mulkin da sojoji suka yi a shekarar 1985 wanda ya kai Janar Ibrahim Babangida kan karagar mulki.[6]

Ministan tarayya

A cikin Satumba 1985, an naɗa shi Ministan Ayyuka da Gidaje. A wannan aikin ya sa ido a kan aikin titin mota biyu na Abuja - Kaduna - Kano. A shekarar 1986, bayan juyin mulkin Janar Mamman Vatsa, an naɗa Hamza Abdullahi a matsayin Ministan Babban Birnin Tarayya kuma mamba a Majalisar Mulki ta Sojoji.[4]

An umarce shi da ya tabbatar da nasarar mayar da kujerar gwamnati daga Legas zuwa Abuja. Burinsa shi ne ya samu kashi 75 cikin 100 na ma’aikatu a Abuja nan da 1990, ranar da aka yi niyyar mayar da babban birnin tarayya daga Legas a hukumance.[7] A lokacin mulkinsa, ya lura da aikin ginin mataki na 1:[8] tare da manyan gundumomin Maitama da Asokoro da kuma abubuwan tarihi na gwamnatin tarayya da dama da suka haɗa da ƙofar birnin; fadar shugaban ƙasa ta Aso Rock da kuma barikin sojoji.[9]

A watan Oktoban 1988, an ƙara masa girma zuwa Air Vice Marshal matsayi na uku mafi girma a rundunar sojojin saman Najeriya, sannan ya yi ritaya bayan watanni biyu. A cikin ritaya, ya yi rayuwa mai zaman kansa - kuma shi ne darekta a Julius Berger, Kamfanin gine-gine da injiniya na Jamus; Ɗantata and Sawoe Construction Company Limited, wani kamfanin gine-gine na Najeriya-Jamus. Ya samu karɓuwa sosai saboda ƙwarewarsa ta soja da horo, ya kasance abokin tarayya kuma aminin Janar Ibrahim Babangida.[10]

Ya mutu a ranar 3 ga Janairu, 2019, a wani asibitin Jamus bayan doguwar jinya.[11]
